Industry Experience

I have had 30+ years of software engineering, programming, and software/hardware testing experience, including 20 years at Unisys Corp. and 7 years at Datacard Corp. I currently serve as a Software Test lead designer, process owner, wiki administrator, and domain trainer in the Cardiac Rhythm Management unit of Boston Scientific.

Specific responsibilities include designing and running automated tests for software used by cardiologists and electrophysiologists in connection with cardiac implantable devices. The environment includes extensive GUI systems as well as real-time embedded software. Much time is spent making sure the written requirements are correct, and the tests match those requirements. This is the heart of software testing!
