About me:

I have been writing software for work and play since my first computer science class in the 9th grade, 1999.
I am always thinking about how to put the "engineering" into software teams. Getting it right, where it counts, when people are counting on us.

Experience:

Zipnosis: Senior Engineer (2016-present): I work on a scrum team developing a virtual healthcare platform in Ruby/Rails and AngularJS.
Code42: Engineer (2012-2016): developed CrashPlan product API in Java and front-end in ReactJS.
Hutchinson Technology: Product Engineer (2006-2012): Developed new feature concepts for hard disk drive components to enable continuous improvement to read/write performance while maintaining low manufacturing cost. Developed engineering software to improve these processes.
